The Bookish Songs Collective is a global collaboration of indie artists and staple of the bookish community online. Best known for creating soundtracks to popular novels, they have accumulated over 3.5 million streams across music platforms and have performed at several book-themed events.
After launching their debut album, “Sinners & Saints”, a project that explores the realm of the Grishaverse by Leigh Bardugo, the group charted in the Top 50 of the iTunes & Apple Music Singer/Songwriter charts in nine countries world-wide, including #1 in Germany and #13 in Canada. They have gone on to release projects for a number of both well-known and niche book series alike, quickly becoming a recognizable force for their ability to bring fictional worlds to life with diverse lyricism and instrumentation across genres.
In addition to their fan works, The Bookish Songs Collective has collaborated with several authors to create official soundtracks for their published novels. In 2024, the group worked with #1 New York Times Bestselling authors Becky Albertalli and Xiran Jay Zhao on social media campaigns to promote their musical accompaniments to Imogen, Obviously and Iron Widow respectively. In 2025, the Bookish Songs Collective became the official voice of the No Other Gods series by Piper CJ, working with the author to provide a “listen along” playlist readers will find in the front of the second novel in the series.
Along with their growing catalogue of releases, The Bookish Songs Collective is also a leading force in the fantasy ball and convention space, hosting live performances at LeakyCon, Chronicles of the Dancing Realm, and the A Million Lives Book Festival, among others. In 2025, they will attend the first ever author-approved event, the Blood & Bone Ball in Des Moines, Iowa, a night inspired by the world of From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout.
